Songwriter, composer and producer T. Griffin has scored dozens of film and theater projects. His work is distinguished by it's subtlety, attention to detail, dramatic flow and and a commitment to find the music that emanates from an image, rather than music to lay on top of it.

Style and instrumentation are dictated by the project, but he has worked seamlessly between string arrangements, processed field recordings, full rock bands and homespun electronica.

Griffin was a 2008 Fellow at the Sundance Composer's lab. He works out of his studio in Brooklyn, New York.

News

Canal Street Madam to premiere in competition at SXSW. The Tze Chun short Silver Sling will also be at SXSW.

Utopia in Four Movements a live soundtrack project with Sam Green premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2010.

Manifesto DF, a live soundtrack project w/ Jem Cohen, DJ/Rupture, Guy Picciotto (Fugazi) and Andy Moor (The Ex) premiered in Mexico City, March 09 and was performed again at SANFIC in Santiago, Chile in August 09.
