shiny little records ** home of The Quavers / T Griffin Coraline / T. Griffin

Songwriter, composer and producer T. Griffin has scored dozens of film and theater projects. His work is distinguished by his commitment to find the music that emanates from an image, rather than music to lay on top of it.

Style and instrumentation are dictated by the project, but he has worked seamlessly between string arrangements, processed field recordings, full rock bands and homespun electronica.

He has worked with leading independent filmmakers including Jem Cohen, Tze Chun, Michael Almereyda, Esther Robinson, Sam Green and Kimberly Reed. He has collaborated with musical luminaries such as Patti Smith, Vic Chesnutt, Tom Verlaine, DJ/Rupture and members of Fugazi, The Ex, and godspeed you! black emperor.

Griffin was a 2008 Fellow at the Sundance Composer's lab. He works out of his studio in Brooklyn, New York.
